The MEXT Promotion of Development of a Joint Usage/ Research System Project: Coalition of Universities for Research Excellence Program (CURE) “Multi-scale Quantum–Classical Life Interface Research Consortium” aims to establish a new interdisciplinary field by connecting microscopic quantum processes of photoreceptors and fluorescent/luminescent proteins interacting with light to their macroscale molecular functional expression processes.
